Nursery Care – Blackman UMC has two dedicated nursery workers on staff and are available during each worship service for children ages 4 and under. Also, during Sunday School the nursery is available for children ages 4 and under. The nursery is in Room 104.

Children’s Sunday School

Our dedicated volunteer teachers at Blackman UMC utilize relevant curriculum to provide age-appropriate lessons by utilizing a combination of crafts, video, technology, and Bible readings to help your child learn the stories in fun and interactive ways. Age breakdowns and room numbers are as follows:
5 yr olds through 3rd grade – Room 109
4th  and 5th  grade – Room 103

For more information please contact the church office or look over our Safe Sanctuary Policy here.

Youth Sunday School

Youth Confirmation (6th – 12th grades) – Room 206
This class is offered over the course of several months each year. It is designed for young people who are ready to take personal responsibility for the vows made on their behalf at their baptism or for those young people who have not yet been baptized.

Youth Hang Out (6th – 12th grades) – Room 204
This time is designed for our young people to connect with adult leaders in a more casual setting. The hope is that through this time our young people can build relationships and get plugged in to both large group activities and the various small group we offer for teenagers.
