Youth Ministries

Sunday Night Youth Most Sunday evenings, youth in 6th – 12th grade gather for food, fellowship and fun!  We have a snack supper at 5:00 pm provided by parents/volunteers, followed by a devotion and a different activity each week.  Once a month, we head out into the community for a different event that have included escape rooms, bowling, skating and a progressive dinner.

Sunday Morning Small Group Each Sunday morning, we gather to explore relevant biblical topics and connect with one another. All 6th- 12th graders are invited to participate as we dig into the scriptures. Sunday School starts at 9:00 am.

Confirmation Confirmation is an exciting and transformative adventure designed specifically for our youth, offered to 6th grade (and beyond). This enriching journey invites curious minds to engage in meaningful discipleship through and array of classes, hands on experiences, a retreat and the chance to cultivate a deeper relationship with Christ.

As a youth embarks on this path, they will not only explore the core beliefs of the United Methodist Church but also take significant steps toward embracing a vibrant faith of their own. A class will kick off in the fall! Join us for this uplifting journey of faith, friendship, and personal growth.

Retreats Throughout the year, the youth take several retreats to get away and focus on their faith journey.  Fall Retreat at Beersheba Springs Camp and Resurrection in Pigeon Ford, TN are a vital part of our youth group.

Mission Opportunities Service opportunities and the yearly Generational Mission Trip provide the youth a means to be the hands and feet of Christ.  Often, we partner with the community to serve through Project Transformation, Nourish Food Bank, MTSU Wesley Foundation, Stepping Stones, Reelfoot Rural Ministries, and many others.
